About Lake Avenue Elementary
Located at 126 Lake Avenue and built in 1923 as the Saratoga Springs High School, our elementary school is one of six outstanding elementary schools in the Saratoga Springs City School District. Serving 395 students in grades K-5, our school, Lake Avenue emphasizes a warm welcome and sense of belonging in supporting each student’s personal pathway for learning.
Building Leadership
The Lake Avenue Elementary Building Leadership Team (BLT) is made up of parents, guardians and elementary school staff. THE BLT meets through the year to collaboratively discuss topics that are important to the school. For more information, please contact the main office.
Attendance
All absences and dismissal changes should be submitted using School Dismissal Manager (SDM) online portal. Absences and late arrivals should be logged by parents prior to 9 a.m. Any dismissal changes must be submitted by 2 p.m. If you have any questions or need assistance using School Dismissal Manager (SDM), please contact Lisa Maslak, the attendance clerk, by calling the main office or emailing lake_attendance@saratogaschools.org.
If an absence is not reported, parents/guardians will receive an attendance message through ParentSquare notifying them of their student’s absence. Parents/guardians will be able to respond to the message through ParentSquare with a digital note to excuse their child’s absence.
