About the School
Caroline Street Elementary School provides a safe, nurturing and academically challenging environment. The school fosters self-esteem and zest for learning that will enable students to grow to their full potential as healthy, creative, responsible citizens.
At our school we value providing opportunities for children to extend their learning beyond the school day. Throughout the year we offer various classes depending on the student interest and instructor availability.
Clubs and activities include:
- Grade 4 Drama Club
- Grade 5 Drama Club
- Lego Club
- Spanish, Chinese and French Foreign Language Classes
Character education is very important at our school. Each month we have a character trait that is emphasized through our school newsletter, morning announcements and in the classrooms. Our students and staff participate in various activities to put good character into action as we live out these traits. A few examples include a Veteran’s Day Ceremony, Souper Bowl (food drive), and visiting Home of the Good Shepard residents throughout the year. Our Student Council also assists in leading community service efforts including serving at the SNAC Pack program
Building Leadership Team
The Caroline Street Elementary School Building Leadership Team (BLT) is made up of parents, guardians, and elementary school staff. The BLT meets through the year to collaboratively discuss topics that are important to the school. For more information, please contact the main office.
Attendance
All absences and dismissal changes should be submitted using the School Dismissal Manager online portal. Absences and late arrivals should be logged by parents prior to 9 a.m. Any dismissal changes must be submitted by 2 p.m. If you have any questions or need assistance using School Dismissal Manager, please contact Anne Brodsky, attendance clerk by calling the school office.
