The district is committed to enhancing our educational facilities through long-term planning, and the ongoing legacy capital project represents a significant step in this endeavor. As we begin to prepare for the next phase of this project, which will be presented to voters for approval in May 2025, we are inviting interested stakeholders to join the Legacy Referendum Advisory Committee.
This committee will play an important role in providing input as we develop the scope of the future of our school buildings. Committee members should expect to attend approximately ten Wednesday evening meetings between March 20 and October 2024.
Please note, the Legacy Referendum Advisory Committee Interest Form closed on March 8.
Committee meetings will be held on the following dates at 6:00 p.m.:
- March 20th – Introduction, Overview & Financial
- April 10th – Scope Review: 5 Yr. Capital Plan, Classroom, etc.
- April 24th – Building Specific Scope Items
- May 8th – Building Tours – Session #1
- May 15th – Building Tours – Session #2
- June 5th – Prioritization
- July 10th – Review Prioritization & Goals
- August 14th – Draft Board of Education Presentation
- September 18th – Finalize Board of Education Presentation
- October 10th – Board of Education Presentation
