About the School
Our mission is to provide a quality educational program, which challenges, nurtures, and supports students to do their best in all developmental areas; to instill in students a love of learning, pride in their accomplishments, a sense of responsibility for their own learning, and good citizenship. The mission is accomplished by providing a safe and nurturing learning environment with high expectations, a sense of community, and a sense of pride in the school’s commitment to education.
Building Leadership Team
The Division Street Elementary School Building Leadership Team (BLT) is made up of parents, guardians, and elementary school staff. The BLT meets through the year to collaboratively discuss topics that are important to the school. For more information, please contact the main office.
Attendance Information
To report an absence, please email division_attendance@saratogaschools.org. If an absence is not reported prior to 10:30 a.m., parents/guardians will receive an attendance message through ParentSquare notifying them of their student’s absence. Parents/guardians will be able to respond to the message through ParentSquare with a digital note to excuse their child’s absence.
If your child will be arriving late, will be picked up early, or will be dismissed another way, please email division_attendance@saratogaschools.org by 12:00 p.m. For example, they will be a sign-out (parent pickup) instead of taking the bus home on a particular day.
Please indicate your child’s name and their teacher’s name, as well as the specific dates involved. If your child is being picked up early or being changed to a sign-out, please put the name of the person signing them out on the email.
