Our district is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and affirming school environment for all students, staff, and visitors in our schools each day. For several years, our District’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts have focused on creating a positive learning environment, promoting access and opportunity for all students, and championing efforts to foster and facilitate growth in becoming a culturally competent school community with respect for all.
The District Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee will hold the first meeting of the year on Monday, October 17 at 6 p.m. Meetings will be held in room 221/223 of the MacFadden Administration Building, and all District DEI Committee meetings are open to the public.
As a community, we need to work together to ensure that every school community member feels welcome and safe in our schools.
