We are aware that some members of our community have been affected by food insecurities related to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) not issuing November Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. We understand that challenges outside the classroom can impact students and families in many ways.
We want to remind families that school meals remain free for all students. To help support our families, we’ve gathered links to local and state resources that provide food assistance and other community supports across Saratoga County:
- SSCSD Community Resources Guide
- Saratoga Food Pantry
- Capital Region Food Pantries
- Karyl’s Kupboard
- HEARS Family Line
- Saratoga Food Pantry
- Captain Family Assistance
Our school counselors and social workers are also available to help connect families with local supports as needed. For families who would like to help the food insecurity cause, please use these resources as a list of places to support or donate to.
