                                  Captain Family, Housing & Utilities Assistance
                                  Captain’s Family Assistance program offers advocacy and assistance in accessing emergency funds for basic needs. Vouchers for clothing and household items are available, as well as rent and utility payment assistance, Thanksgiving Baskets, Adopt-a-Family and Holiday Toy Shop.

                                  Catholic Charities Mary’s Haven
                                  A community home for the dying for persons with irreversible illness who are within the last three months of their lives and can no longer safely remain in their homes. Holistic hospice care is provided to address the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. 

                                    Franklin Community Center
                                    Franklin Community Center provides families with advocacy, information and make referrals to agencies best equipped to their needs. Services also include access to the food pantry, holiday and back to school assistance.

                                    LifeWorks Community Action (EOC) Seasonal Assistance:
                                    LifeWorks provides a Thanksgiving Basket and summer lunches to families in need in Saratoga County based on eligibility.

                                    Prevention Council
                                    A nonprofit, community-based organization working to prevent alcohol, drug and other substance abuse throughout Saratoga County.

                                    The Empty Stocking Project
                                    The Saratoga County Children’s Committee provides holiday assistance to parents and caregivers. The project begins in September. Requests made by October 1 will be considered.

                                                          988 Mental Health Hotline 
                                                          988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.  When people call, text, or chat 988, they will be connected to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network. These trained counselors will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.
