2026-2027 Lake Avenue Supply Lists

Kindergarten

Personal Supplies 

Please label all items.

  • Backpack, needs to fit in small, narrow lockers
  • Plastic, standard rectangular pencil box( labeled with name)
  • 1 pkg. Of Elmers glue sticks  
  • 1 pair of Fiskars soft grip blunt tip kids’ scissors
  • 2 boxes of 24 crayons (Crayola are best)
  • Art smock (a parent/guardians old t-shirt works well)
  • Headphones with cord – no ear buds (out of package and in a labeled zip lock bag with your child’s name on it)

To Share with the Class

  • 1 box of Expo dry erase markers, fine tip
  • Girls- 1 container of Clorox disinfectant wipes
  • Girls – 2 boxes of tissues
  • Boys – 2 rolls of paper towels
  • Boys- 1 package of baby wipes
  • Some items will need to be replenished throughout the year.  We will send a note home to let you know.

First Grade

  • A healthy snack (every day)
  • 2 boxes of sharpened Ticonderoga #2 pencils
  • 1 personal mechanical pencil sharpener
  • 1 pair of Fiskar children’s scissors
  • 2 pink wedge erasers (any brand/color)
  • 1 red two-pocket folder (with pockets at the bottom, no clasps, please)
  • 2 boxes of 24 Crayola crayons
  • 1 box of 8 regular sized Classic Colors Crayola markers (conical/broad tip)
  • 1 box of 4 Expo Markers
  • 1 plastic pencil box (6×8 spacemaker is a good size)
  • 2 large Elmer’s gluesticks
  • Headphones in a plastic Ziploc bag (labeled with the student’s name)
  • Art smock (an old shirt is fine)
  • Sneakers (for gym class and recess)
  • Backpack
  • 2 box of tissues
  • 1 container of disinfectant wipes
  • 1 container of baby wipes

Second Grade

  • 2 dozen #2 Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened)
  • 1 pair  children’s scissors (blunt end)
  • 4- 6 Elmer’s Glue Sticks
  • Headphones (in a Ziploc bag labeled with name)
  • 2 Pocket Folders (one red and one green)
  • 1 Composition Notebook- Wide Ruled
  • 1 Box of Colored Pencils 
  • 1 Hard Supply Box
  • 1 Art Smock (Old T-Shirt) 
  • 2 Boxes of Tissues
  • 1 Canister of Clorox Disinfectant Wipes (if your last name is A-K)
  • 1 Canister of Hand Wipes (if your last name is L-Z)

Third Grade

  • 8-count Crayola Washable Markers
  • 12-count colored pencils
  • 8-count crayons
  • 12-count dry-erase markers
  • 1 black Sharpie marker
  • 1 black extra-fine Sharpie marker
  • 1 sharp-pointed Fiskars-type scissors
  • Headphones for computer use (NO earbuds) inside a gallon-sized plastic bag with students name on it.  Please make sure they still work
  • 1 composition notebook
  • Hand-held noiseless pencil sharpener
  • 1 pencil case (to hold 4 pencils, 8 crayons, scissors, 12 colored pencils, 8 markers, 2 dry-erase markers, 2 sharpies, 1 glue stick, hand-held pencil sharpener & 1 eraser) 
  • 12” ruler
  • Kleenex – 2 large rectangular-sized box
  • Wipes – 1 package
  • A book to read on a daily basis
  • Your smile and positive attitude

*Please note: more supplies may be needed for replenishment throughout the year.

Fourth Grade

  • 3-boxes of #2 pre-sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)
  • 1 set of headphones (in a zip-loc bag, labeled with name)
  • 1 pack of Dry Erase markers
  • 1 pencil case
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • 2 composition notebook (any color)
  • 5 two–pocket folders (1-green, 1-blue, 1-yellow, 1-red, 1-purple) – Plastic folder preferred
  • 1 pair of small scissors
  • 2  boxes of tissues
  • 1 container of disinfectant wipes
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
  • Individually wrapped snack donation to classroom

Fifth Grade

  • Please label all supplies with your first name, last name and homeroom
  • Pencil pouch- a medium size zipper pouch (not a box)
  • Pencils- 2 boxes of 24ea #2 Dixon Ticonderoga. Please keep a good supply at home and replenish as needed throughout the year. 
  • Colored Pencils- 1 box 
  • 1 Package of Highlighters
  • Scissors- 1 good pair 
  • Glue Sticks- 2 large (Elmer’s preferred)
  • 2 Pocket Folder for Music only
  • Additional Folders for Class – 5 double pocket folders (1 Green, 1 Red, 1 Purple, 1 Blue and 1 Yellow)
  • Tissues – 1-2 boxes to be shared with the class throughout the year
  • Disinfectant Wipes- 1-2 packages of Clorox or Lysol wipes
  • Headphones with a plug (not wireless)
