Seven Saratoga Springs High School students have been named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program. Katherine Kemp, Zachary Kopans, Derek Longo, Alejandro Meissner, Nicholas Morser, Theresa Richter, and Jack Sweeney Benzon received Letters of Commendation from Saratoga Springs High School and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Approximately 34,000 students nationwide are being recognized as Commended Students for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed amo ng the top 50,000 students who entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
