The Saratoga Springs City School District will host the Saratoga Cool School Mobile Polar Plunge on Thursday, November 12, at Saratoga Springs High School. The event will bring students, staff and community members together for a fun and meaningful way to support Special Olympics New York athletes and Unified Sports.
A mobile plunge unit, known as the Plungester, will be on site, giving participants the opportunity to take a chilly plunge while raising funds for a great cause. Funds raised will directly support Special Olympics New York athletes in the region, providing year-round sports training, competitions and inclusive opportunities at no cost to athletes or their families.
School community members are encouraged to participate, support a fundraiser or make a donation to help local athletes thrive through sports and inclusion. Visit the 2026 Saratoga Cool School Mobile Polar Plunge registration page to register, join a team or donate.
