Health Exams
Students new to the district and those entering grades 1, 3, 5, 7, and 11 are required to provide a physical within 30 days of the start of school. Physicals must be dated 9/8/2021 or later
Immunizations
All students MUST be up to date on NYS required vaccinations Students who are not current on vaccinations will need to be excluded Medical exemptions MUST be renewed each school year.
Medications
Medication must be delivered to the School Nurse by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.
Medication must be in the original pharmacy container/package with proper label attached.
Nurses cannot give over-the-counter medication without a physician’s order.
Screenings
Vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings will be conducted by the school nurse starting in the Fall. Parents/Guardians will be notified of any abnormal findings.
