 Club Meetings and Information November 15th, 2023 

8th Graders raising money for the Washington, D.C. trip, we have extended the Raise-365 fundraiser! Keep raising money, you are doing a great job! This fundraiser will close on Friday, November 17 

Math club will be meeting after school until 3 pm on Wednesday, 11/15 in room R232. 

French Club will meet on Wednesday, November 15 after school in room E142. All students are welcome, even if you don’t take French. 

Attention Wrestlers! There will be an informational meeting this Thursday for any 7th or 8th grade student interested in joining the modified wrestling team. The meeting will be in Coach Martucci’s classroom, room 185, during 7th & 8th grade flexes. See Coach Martucci or Coach Russell with any questions. 

MAGSA will have its next meeting on Wednesday, November 15th in room E138. See Mr. Kane with any questions! 

Introduction to Bagpiping club will meet on Wednesday after school in P222. 

Skidmore “Kids Night Out” is Friday, November 17th. Flyers are available in the Main Office with more information. 

 Science Bowl meeting today in room 267. New members are still welcome. 

 Attention 8th Graders! Mark your calendars! Friday, March 22 is the 8th grade semi-formal here at Maple Avenue! More information will be sent your way after February break! 

International Club is meeting after school today, on Wednesday! All are welcome to join us! 

 Reminder that Voice Club is open to all middle school students. We meet on Wednesdays after school in the Chorus Room. Students preparing for NYSSMA, please remember to pick up your registration forms from Mrs. Jackson or Mrs. Levin. 

 For those who placed Poinsettia and Wreath orders, pick up with be in the auditorium lobby on Monday, November 27 from 2:30 to 4pm. 

Attention Maple Ave 7th Graders!  Want to be part of history?  The 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party is December 16!  Bring in small bags of LOOSE tea (NO Tea bags) to your social studies teacher and your tea will end up in Boston Harbor when they reenact the event next month.  The deadline to submit your tea will be December 8.  Let’s remember this famous protest by having Saratoga’s tea fill Boston Harbor!
