The Saratoga Springs City School District is pleased to announce that Mark Fish will serve as the interim principal at Maple Avenue Middle School.
Mr. Fish retired as Superintendent of Greenwich Central School District in 2022 and has recently served as the Interim Superintendent at the Galway Central School District and Interim Principal at the Fort Plain Central School District. Prior to becoming a superintendent, Mr. Fish was the middle school principal in South Glens Falls Central School District for 16 years and began his teaching career in Johnstown Central School District.
Mr. Fish will begin as interim principal on Monday, December 1, and will serve as Maple Avenue Middle School Principal through April 2, 2026, until a new principal is able to begin. Information regarding the principal hiring process will be shared in the new year.
