NURSES ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Winter Sports Registration is now open.  Please check with the nurse’s office to see if you have an updated physical in order to be cleared to play. School Physicals for Sports on Friday November 7th can also be scheduled with the nurse. 

 

The PE Department will be having make-ups for all students who missed the Run/Walk assessment after school today.  Meet the coaches in the blue gym at 2:30 and dress appropriately to be active.

 

School Photo Retakes are scheduled for today, all day, in the auditorium. Please go during Flex, your study hall, your lunch, etc. Please obtain permission from your teacher prior to going to auditorium. 

 

There will be an alpine ski informational meeting Thursday October 30th in the TA for anyone interested in racing this year. If you cannot attend contact Coach Belanger.

 

The High School Counseling office is excited to inform you about the upcoming Class of 2026 SUNY Adirondack Direct Admissions Event, which will take place on Tuesday, November 18, at 10:30 AM in the high school auditorium. During this event, our students will have the opportunity to receive direct admission to SUNY Adirondack and learn more about the various programs available to them. Representatives from the college will be present, to guide students through the next steps in the admission process. For any student who requests to opt out the event, they must contact the counseling office by November 1.

 

There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in joining either the Boys or Girls Bowling Teams this Thursday October 30th at 2:30 in room B 215.  Come have some fun!  There are no cuts, there are no weekends, all practices and matches are Mondays through Thursdays.  See Coach Jones in Room B 215 for further information.  Sign-ups are now open on Arbiter Sports under Athletics on the school home page.

 

Yearbook Club will only be meeting today.

 

Are you ready for ski season? Think snow! Warren Miller’s New Movie: SNO-CIETY will be shown this Saturday, November 1st at 7 pm at Maple Avenue Middle School.  Tickets are $25.  Win Skis, Boots, and Ski Gear Just By Attending!

Proceeds benefit the Alpine Ski Team.

 

Sign Language Club will be hosting a Halloween Party with snacks and spooky new signs after school this Friday in A212.  All are welcome!

 

There will be a Student Council meeting this Thursday 10/30 to plan our upcoming November food drive.  All are welcome!

 

Courtyards are closed for the season (until Spring) – even if we have a nice day, it will remain closed.
