ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention Freshmen: There will be a mandatory parent/student meeting for the current 9th grade students who plan to apply to the Science Research program.  This meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the TA.  Important information about the application process, program expectations, and next steps will be shared during the meeting.  If you are considering applying, please make plans to be there.

 

The Chess Club meets today after school in room B112.  Bring friends and come and play some fun games.

 

Spring Sports Registration is now open.  Please check with the nurse’s office to see if you have an updated physical in order to be cleared to play.

 

School physicals for sports on Tuesday, March 3rd can also be scheduled with the nurse.

 

There will be a Girl’s Outdoor Track meeting on Tuesday, March 3rd, immediately after school in Mr. Trombley’s room, B213. If you can’t attend, contact Coach Reilly.

 

There is a Varsity and JV tennis meeting after school this Thursday, 2/26, in room B208.  If you cannot attend please see Coach O’Brien.

 

Any athletes interested in joining the boys spring track and field team should attend an informational meeting on Thursday at 2:30 in the Wellness Center. Anyone interested but cannot attend the meeting should see Coach Conley or Coach Zanetti.

 

Move Dance will meet today after school in the TA from 2:30-3:10.  

The Blood Drive will be next Thursday, March 5th. Many students have received information from Mrs. Cox on Student Square about how to sign up, and there will be a sign-up table outside all lunches for the next two weeks.  Anyone 16 and older can donate! If you are 16, you must fill out the parent consent form. Please reach out to Julie Cox, Sydney Balzer, or Sophia Allen with any questions. Every donation counts, so please consider signing up!
