The district is excited to launch a strategic planning process that will position us for the future. This process will allow us to reexamine our core beliefs, priorities, goals, and action steps to ensure we continue providing an outstanding school experience. It will be a pivotal initiative shaping the future of our district, and your involvement is essential.
Our current Pathways Vision, created in 2018 with input from students, staff, the Board of Education, and the community, is rooted in four core beliefs: equity of opportunity, collaboration, community, and personalization. This vision has served as a guide for our work over the past eight years. Now, it is important to update our vision and mission to reflect our district’s current priorities and the evolving needs of our school community.
The updated strategic plan will aim to create a roadmap that not only reflects the aspects of our school that are already working well, but also addresses areas in which we can make improvements. We are committed to considering all perspectives and opinions on the direction we should take.
We truly value your input in making our strategic plan the best it can be. We encourage you to share your insights on what we are excelling at and where there’s room for growth. Additionally, we are eager to hear your thoughts on what we should prioritize for the future.
To gather feedback, our district is utilizing the platform Thought Exchange and you can participate here: https://tejoin.com/scroll/364593533. Thought Exchange allows you to contribute your thoughts anonymously, and you can also view and rate the feedback provided by other community members. We encourage ongoing participation, so please feel free to revisit the platform often to keep the conversation active.
Your feedback will be instrumental in guiding our future plans, so we urge you to make your voice heard. The survey will remain accessible through October 31st. Thank you for your engagement and support as we work together to shape the future of the Saratoga Springs City School District.
