Lake Avenue Centennial Celebration on May 4

Join us for a Centennial Celebration at Lake Avenue Elementary School on Saturday, May 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as we celebrate 100 years of this historic building. Current Lake Avenue families, Lake Avenue alumni, and community members are invited to attend.

The open house-style event will feature a historical exhibition produced by the Centennial Club, composed of Lake Ave. students grades 3-5; guided tours of the building; Two Square games—a nostalgic memory for any Lake Avenue alum; food; live music; limited edition Centennial merchandise; and more.

The Lake Avenue Centennial Celebration and the year-long Centennial Club program were made possible thanks to support from the City of Saratoga Springs Participatory Budgeting program, the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors, and Saratoga Arts’s Community Arts Regrant Program, which is funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. Additional support was provided by numerous local businesses and Lake Avenue Elementary students, educators, parents, and volunteers.
