Attention Juniors: Spring College Visits will take place in the Counseling Office beginning today and will go through May 13th. The list of colleges is available on Naviance. To register, log into your Naviance account via Clever. See the counseling office or the bulletin board outside the counseling office for more information.

The 6th annual Haiku contest has begun!
Submit to your English teacher or email haiku to Mr. Ubriaco. You can submit up to 5 haiku. Top Haiku wins $50 and spots 2 & 3 win journals and books of haiku. Deadline is April 30th. Good luck!!
The large courtyard will be open during lunches for students, weather permitting. Enjoy the sunshine.
Junior/Senior Prom Ticket Sales
Prom tickets can be purchased online through MySchoolBucks or in-person during lunches or after school in room B214. The cost is $60 for an in-person ticket. If tickets are purchased online, please pick up your tickets in room B214 as soon as possible. Student IDs are required for all SSHS students attending the Prom. See Mr. Brown, Mrs. Visconti, or Ms. Miller if you have any questions.
Attentions Seniors! May 1st is traditionally known as National College Decision Day
Please wear your college gear to school On May 1st and seek out Mrs. Redman for a photo to be included in the Spring Insert. Spring Inserts are 12 pages of events after the yearbook’s March 1st deadline. These inserts will include seniors in spring sports, College Decision Day, Prom, and Springfest. These $10 inserts will be available in B114 from Mrs. Redman after June 1st.
The Military Club will meet on Thursday, May 1st after school in the weight room.
If you’re signed up to take the SATs here at the High School this Saturday, May 3rd be sure to download and log onto the Bluebook App. If you have questions or need help, check with IT to ensure you’re prepared to test on Saturday. Bring your ID and charged school device on Test Day.
Yearbook distribution is quickly upon us. We are scheduled to distribute during Flex on Tuesday, May 20th. Please be sure to attend Flex and May 20th. If you do not have a Flex due to BOCES, ACC, P-Tech, etc. please get your yearbook from the main office.
The Ultimate Frisbee Club will be meeting this tomorrow, Thursday, May 1 after school at 2:30pm for a pickup game! The club will meet on the grass fields to the left of the turf field behind the school. Come learn and play some ultimate! All are welcome!
