Kids Night Out at Skidmore College on February 6 Don’t miss Kid’s Night Out at the Williamson Sports Center on Friday, December 12, from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM! Open to ages 6–13, the evening will be full of fun activities, including basketball, dodgeball, and more. The facility also features a pool with certified lifeguards and a concession stand. The cost is $10 per child, and no pre-registration is necessary. For questions, please contact Ron Plourde, Head Baseball Coach, Skidmore College, at 518-580-5380. Talking to Teens About Health Relationships with Wellspring on February 10 Join Wellspring on February 10 from 10 -11 a.m. or 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. for a conversation on talking to teens about healthy relationships. February is Teen Dating Abuse Awareness Month and Wellspring is inviting parents and caregivers to attend this training. Call Wellspring at 518-583-0280 to register.
RPI SWE Exploring Engineering Day 2026 Exploring Engineering Day will be held on February 14, 2026, on RPI’s campus (110 8th Street Troy, NY 12180). This year’s theme is “The Superpower of STEM!” with activities that shine a light on how different disciplines in STEM and Engineering are superpowers. The registration deadline is January 16. 99.5 The River Pay Less for the Dress on March 5 & 7 99.5 The River’s Pay Less for the Dress event will take place at Proctors Key Hall on March 6 and March 7 from 4:00–8:00 p.m. This annual fundraiser helps local students enjoy a more affordable prom experience by offering gently used and new prom dresses for just $9.95. Nurtured in Nature at Pitney Meadows Community Farm Nurtured in Nature,” an immersive after-school program for K–5 students that invites children to slow down, explore, and connect with the natural world. Meeting weekly on Wednesdays from 4:30–5:30pm at Pitney Meadows Community Farm, students engage in a rotating blend of hands-on nature science and nature-based mindfulness, guided by instructors Leah and Andrew Ferrone. Rooted in seasonal rhythms and sensory exploration, the program nurtures curiosity, creativity, emotional well-being, and a sense of belonging on the land.
Saratoga Rowing Association Enjoy team sports and looking to try something new? Saratoga Rowing has Junior Competitive Programs for all athletes from 7th through 12th grade!
