Paint Collection Day on Saturday, October 4, 2025 Paint can be recycled and made into new paint. Bring your unwanted paint to the Saratoga Springs High School parking lot on October 4, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Click here to learn more.

Activities  

SPAC Arts Discovery After School Program

This program is open to all students in grades 2-5. Courses are scheduled to begin in September and are offered once a week on Tuesdays from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm for 6 weeks. The tuition is $120 per student.  Register Online at: https://forms.gle/HMAazZbCYdoYYfA49Registrations are due: Friday, September 19.

STEAM Academy After School Program at Myers Education Center 

This program is open to all students in grades 3-6. Courses are scheduled to begin in October and are offered once a week on Thursdays from 3:45 pm – 5:15 pm for 5 weeks. The tuition for each course is $135 per student.

Registrations are due: Friday, October 10th

Head Start – Now enrolling: Head Start is a free program for pregnant women and children through age 5 in Saratoga County. When a child is kindergarten eligible after attending Head Start, they have a better chance of succeeding, both by graduating high school and going to college or trade school. Head Start kids grow up to be anything they want to be! Complete an online application at lifeworksaction.org/head-start-programs 

BeTa Community Programs offer before & after-school enrichment programs as well as summer enrichment options. Learn more about BeTa at https://www.betacommunityprograms.com/.

Boy Scouts in Saratoga  Experience the thrill of scouting within the Saratoga Springs community with exciting activities for grades K-5. New packs accepting families. Contact Wendy Diefendorf at Wendy.Diefendorf@scouting.org.

Nutured in Nature at Pitney Meadows Community Farm  Nurtured in Nature meets weekly on Wednesdays for hour-long sessions at Pitney Meadows led by instructors Leah (Lanci) and Andrew Ferrone. Rooted in seasonal cycles and sensory exploration, the program alternates between nature-based science and nature-based mindfulness, allowing students to connect with the land while nurturing curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and emotional well-being. Students will embark on an enriching journey, exploring the rhythm of nature through the distinct seasons of upstate New York in the living classroom of Pitney Meadows Community Farm.   Click here for more information.

Saratoga Rowing Association  Enjoy team sports and looking to try something new? Saratoga Rowing has Junior Competitive Programs for all athletes from 7th through 12th grade! Youth All Recovery Support Group at The Prevention Council  The Youth All Recovery Support Group is an addiction support group for teens ages 14-17.  The group meets on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at the Prevention Council Recovery Center at 125 High Rock Ave. in Saratoga Springs.
