Events

Kids Night Out at Skidmore College on December 12   Don’t miss Kid’s Night Out at the Williamson Sports Center on Friday, December 12, from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM! Open to ages 6–13, the evening will be full of fun activities, including basketball, dodgeball, and more. The facility also features a pool with certified lifeguards and a concession stand. The cost is $10 per child, and no pre-registration is necessary.  For questions, please contact Ron Plourde, Head Baseball Coach, Skidmore College, at 518-580-5380.  Future Kid’s Night Out Dates: Friday, Feb. 6 and Friday, Feb. 20.

Perinatal Mental Health Workshop On December 13  This workshop is designed to support you, listen to you and connect you with resources for your well-being and your baby’s. The event will be held on December 13 at 10 a.m.  Register in advance to prepare your bag with items for the baby.

Holiday Shopping Event for Families of Saratoga County on December 13  Gently used items will be available for families to enjoy a free shopping day.  The event will take place at St. Mary’s School Gymnasium in Ballston Spa from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shred for a Cause on Friday, January. 9  Come out to Shred for a Cause at Willard Mountain on January 9 from 5–9 p.m. Enjoy age-grouped awards, exciting raffle prizes, and an after-party with music as we celebrate an unforgettable night on the mountain to benefit the Double H Ranch.  Click here to learn more.

Girls Scouts Open House on January 27  Join the Girl Scouts for a fun-filled night on January 28 at 6 p.m. in the Saratoga Public Library Susman Room.  Kids will enjoy hands-on crafts, games, or activities while parents learn all about the amazing adventures, friendships, and learning opportunities Girl Scouts offers

RPI SWE Exploring Engineering Day 2026  Exploring Engineering Day will be held on February 14, 2026, on RPI’s campus (110 8th Street Troy, NY 12180). This year’s theme is “The Superpower of STEM!” with activities that shine a light on how different disciplines in STEM and Engineering are superpowers.   The registration deadline is January 9. Nurtured in Nature at Pitney Meadows Community Farm  Nurtured in Nature meets weekly on Wednesdays for hour-long sessions at Pitney Meadows led by instructors Leah (Lanci) and Andrew Ferrone.  Students will embark on an enriching journey, exploring the rhythm of nature through the distinct seasons of upstate New York in the living classroom of Pitney Meadows Community Farm.   Click here for more information.

Saratoga Rowing Association  Enjoy team sports and looking to try something new? Saratoga Rowing has Junior Competitive Programs for all athletes from 7th through 12th grade!
