Cantina Kid’s Fun Run on May 31 The Cantina Kids Fun Run is a beloved athletic event for children ages 12 and under, held in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs at beautiful Congress Park. With an average of 1,000 young participants and hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers, this family-friendly event brings the community together in support of pediatric emergency services at Saratoga Hospital. Nurtured in Nature at Pitney Meadows Community Farm Nurtured in Nature,” an immersive after-school program for K–5 students that invites children to slow down, explore, and connect with the natural world. Meeting weekly on Wednesdays from 4:30–5:30pm at Pitney Meadows Community Farm, students engage in a rotating blend of hands-on nature science and nature-based mindfulness, guided by instructors Leah and Andrew Ferrone. Rooted in seasonal rhythms and sensory exploration, the program nurtures curiosity, creativity, emotional well-being, and a sense of belonging on the land.
