Two Saratoga Springs City School District educators have been awarded grant funding from the Saratoga Schools Education Foundation to enhance learning opportunities for students at Saratoga Springs High School.
Jody Visconti received funding for in-house apparel printing equipment for the Graphic Design Club. The grant will provide heat press machines, a plotter printer, and related supplies, giving students hands-on experience in graphic design, apparel creation, and production. The project will expand creative learning opportunities while supporting student collaboration and design skills.
Sean Lippin was awarded funding for audio arts production equipment, including microphones, a mixer/recorder, and recording and podcasting interfaces. The new equipment will provide students with access to industry-relevant technology while creating opportunities to explore audio recording, production, and podcasting.
To date, the foundation has awarded 47 grants totaling nearly $195,000. Interested in supporting the foundation or getting involved? Email info@saratogalearning.org or visit www.saratogalearning.org.
