Below you will find a list of important dates, school breaks, and Regents exam days for the 2026-2027 school year.  A full calendar is mailed to all families each year in August.

  • September 8-9 Superintendent’s Conference Days – no classes
  • September 10: Classes Begin
  • September 21: Yom Kippur – no classes
  • October 12: Columbus / Indigenous Peoples’ Day – no classes
  • November 3: Superintendent’s Conference Day – no classes
  • November 11: Veterans Day – no classes
  • November 26-27: Thanksgiving Recess – no classes
  • December 24 – January 1: Holiday Recess – no classes
  • January 4: Classes Resume
  • January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day – no classes
  • January 26-29: Regents Testing Days – HS Classes in Session
  • February 15:  President’s Day – no classes
  • February 15-19: Mid-Winter Recess – no classes
  • March 16: Superintendent’s Conference Days – no classes
  • March 26 Good Friday – no classes
  • March 29 – April 2: Spring Recess – no classes
  • May 31: Memorial Day – no classes
  • June 15-24: Regents Testing Days 
  • *June 24: Projected Last Day of School

*Each year, the last day of school can change based on the number of emergency closing days used.
