Club Meetings and Information October 4th, 2023

 

Maple Avenue Musical Club Is holding auditions for their production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Auditions will be submitted online and are due by October 14th. Be sure to pick up the flyer in your house office or in the Main Lobby to find out how to audition for the show!

There will be a Peer Mentor Meeting on Wednesday at 2:35 in Cafeteria #2. All students and grade levels are welcome.

8th Graders! Keep fundraising money for the DC trip! Whether for your trip or to help cover the cost of others in need! Don’t forget to send the Raise365 link out to family and friends! We need your help!

The first meeting of the Introduction to Bagpiping club will be on Wednesday, October 4th after school in Ms. Barber’s room, Hathorn P222. You do not need any instruments to join. All materials will be provided!

No Place for Hate will meet this Wednesday after school in room 257. All are welcome to attend.

The first meeting of the TV Studio Club will be on Wednesday, October 4th at 2:30 in the library. The TV Studio Club produces and records the morning announcements that will be shown in all homerooms. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Hubbs or Mr. Todd.

Guitar club is an opportunity for any student who currently plays guitar, bass, ukulele, or any other stringed instrument, to get together to learn and play songs. A general interest meeting will be held on Thursday, October 5th, at 2:20 in room 241. No instruments are needed for the first meeting.

The Peer Mentor Club will meet in the Chorus room today NOT Cafe #2

Art Club will hold an informational meeting next Wednesday, October 11, in B111 with Mr. Taylor. Anyone wishing to join Art Club should attend.

Are you interested in working on sound, lights, costumes, props or set moving for the Musical Club? The information on how to apply is available in the Main Lobby at the Beauty and the Beast display. Applications must be completed by October 14th.

Important Update for Ski Club Members: Grade 7 or 8 students riding the bus or getting a ride: please have your families register on West Mountain as soon as possible to avoid price increases after October 15. Grade 6 students will be notified of their bus lottery status on Thursday in flex. Contact Mr. Scrivo with any questions.

Friday is black out day! Let’s show our support for the Varsity football team by wearing all black this Friday.
