CPR/AED Training and Re-certifications.

In this program you will be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillation (AED) use by successfully completing the national cognitive and skills evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association (AHA).  This course follows the AHA guidelines for performing CPR and using an AED.  You will learn the basic techniques of adult, infant and child CPR and giving first aid for choking along with use of the AED, which is a new and important device used in emergency cardiovascular care.  AED’s are accurate, easy to operate, and have saved many lives.  They can be used effectively by laypeople with minimal training.
