Schools

Our Schools  

The Saratoga Springs City School District has six elementary schools serving grades kindergarten through five:

  • Lake Avenue and Caroline Street Elementary Schools are located on the East side of Broadway
  • Division Street and Geyser Road Elementary Schools are located on the West side of Broadway
  • Greenfield Elementary School is located in the Town of Greenfield
  • Dorothy Nolan Elementary School is located in the Town of Wilton

There is one middle school for grades six through eight:

  • Maple Avenue Middle School in the Town of Wilton/Saratoga/Greenfield

One high school serves grades nine through 12: 

  • Saratoga Springs High School in the City of Saratoga Springs

For six of the last seven years, the district was ranked in the top 10 of 85 school districts in New York’s Capital Region, and has been the top-ranked city school district in the survey each year. This strong record of academic success is a key factor in attracting families to our area.

Trivia:

Lake Avenue Elementary School was built as the district's new High School in 1923.
Caroline Street and Division Street schools are twins, built at the same time in 1957.
