The attached recommended reading list for grades 7-12 is intended to be used as a source for grade level appropriate outside reading. Each grade level list, while by no means being exhaustive, contains a variety of genres and represents a range of reading levels.
We hope that this list will provide some guidance in book selection. Also, if the specific title is not available to the student, we encourage reading other works by the same author. Parents should consider participating in the selection of reading materials.
We wish to thank district and area colleagues for their suggestions and input on these lists.
Have fun reading!
