Citations for Internet Sources
 

You need the following information in order to cite most Internet sources:

Author's Name. "Article title, poem, short story, or document in quotes."

       Title of Internet Site. Date of last update or copyright date.

       Name of sponsoring Organization. Date Accessed <URL Address>.

Example:

"Scientists Clone First Mule." CNN. 30 May 2003. Cable News Network.

       31 May 2003 <http://www.cnn.com>.



Citation for an Entire Online Book

Author's Name. Title of the Work. Editor or Translator. City of Publication:

        Publisher, Copyright. Title of Internet Site. Editor of Site. Date of electronic

        publication.
Name of Sponsoring Organization. Date Accessed <URL Address>.

Example:

Ovid. Metamorphoses. Trans. Arthur Golding. London: 1567.

        The Perseus Digital Library. Ed. Gregory Crane. Apr. 2001. Tufts U. 16 May

If citing part of an online book, place the title of the part between the author's name and the title of the book.

Author's Name. "Title of part used." Title of Book. Editor. City of Publication:

        publication.
Name of Sponsoring Organization. Date Accessed <URL Address>.

Example:
