This advanced course offers instruction in advanced grammar and composition in conjunction with University at Albany curriculum standards. Students will cover a variety of topics designed to meet their interests and talents. It is also a preparation for college level courses and placement tests. Students will continue with the study of culture, grammar and literature. There is an emphasis on the development of oral and written skills. There are frequent discussions in Spanish and students are expected to write essays on the material covered in class. Students will also study the geography, history and culture of Central and South America.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of French 4 Honors
