Mastery of basic grammatical structures and vocabulary development is stressed . Listening, speaking, reading and writing skills become more complex. Cultural topics are integrated in accordance with the curriculum. This course provides a strong foundation for progression to Level 3.

This is a transistional course between Spanish 1R and Spanish 2R for students who need additional preparation to be successful in Spanish 2R. It will include an intense review of Spanish 1R and will cover topics introduced at the beginning of Spanish 2R.
