The work with previous grammatical structures is reviewed and new patterns are introduced. Mastery of listening, speaking, and reading skills is continued and writing skills are given much attention. Reading includes selections of literary value in different literary forms. Supplementary research in preparation for oral presentations in the target language assumes an important role. The comprehensive Regents examination is given at the end of the course.
