Mastery of more advanced grammatical structure is stressed and listening skills are developed and improved. Reading becomes more complex. Writing continues to be largely guided. Cultural content is integrated with course materials.

French 2NR is a transistional course between French 1R and French 2R for students who need additional preparation to be successful in French 2R. It will include an intense review of French 1R and will cover topics introduced at the beginning of French 2R.
