Requirements

Note that you will be keeping all of your notes, drafts, and other materials in a research folder. These folders will be checked periodically and most parts of the project will be graded as we go along as homework grades (which cannot be made up if late) in addition to being graded in the final project. There will be another grade for the final written project and the presentation.

  2. Create a research question about the topic to guide your research. Information about research questions from OWL online writing lab.

  4. Note Taking: a minimum of five full pages from your sources with citation information.
  5. At various points during your research, keep a learning journal. Minimum of 4 entries.
  6. Create drafts of the three genres, including internal citations. Graded.
  7. Have drafts peer-and teacher-reviewed.
  8. Revise, polish, and edit drafts; finalize three genres.
  9. Create and finalize a works cited page.
