Sex offender notification letter: Nov. 11, 2009
Dear Parent/Guardian:
Please be advised that the school district has been notified by the Saratoga Springs Police Department and/or the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department that a convicted sex offender is presently residing within school district boundaries. The information below provides background and description of the individual.
This offender has a level I designation meaning the risk to the community is low. Parents, faculty and staff should be alert and report any sightings within the vicinity of the schools to administration and/or local authorities.
School
district employees have been alerted to the situation. The
related daily activities at school; i.e., bus line-up/departures
and playgrounds will be closely supervised. The Transportation
Department will also be monitoring bus stops. Persons working
with after-school clubs, interscholastic athletics and evening
student activities will be notified of this information.
The law enforcement departments will be collaborating with the Saratoga Springs City School District in carefully monitoring this situation.
