Fashion show to raise funds for Lend-a-Hand program
Prom
fashions from the past, present and future will take center
stage in March during a fashion show
designed to entertain while raising money for high school
students with limited financial resources.
The Pre-Prom Fashion Show, scheduled for 7
p.m. p.m. Friday, March 14, in the
Meade (teaching) Auditorium at the high school, is a first-time
event sponsored by the school’s Parent-Teacher-Student
Organization. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the Lend-a-Hand Program for local
students. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students.
The snow date is Wednesday, March 19.

Prom styles will be provided by Danielle's, Lily's Saratoga, Rockabella's, S&K Menswear, Saratoga Hospital Guild Thrift Shop, Saratoga Trunk, and The Shoppe. Brooklyn Attitude Hair & Body will provide
hair styles.
In addition, donations of cleaned,
gently used prom attire are needed for students who might
otherwise have a difficult time affording dresses to wear to the
prom. Dresses can be dropped off at the Saratoga Hospital Guild
Thrift Shop, located at 238 Church Street, across from the
Saratoga Hospital. Please call 583-9768 for
drop-off hours.
Area business owners interested in promoting their businesses
during the show are encouraged to donate gift certificates or
merchandise, or advertise in the program. Business and financial
donations to the Lend-a-Hand program can be made payable to SSHS
PTSO, and sent to SSHS PTSO, 3 Blue Streak Blvd.,
Saratoga Springs, N.Y., 12866.
