Business and Career Expo at high school on Nov. 6
Saratoga Springs High School students got a head start on
planning for careers during the school’s first Business/Career
Expo and Trade Show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday,
Nov. 6.
Area business and professional leaders, as well as
representatives of the building and construction trades and the
military, met with students to offer
information about a broad spectrum of jobs.
Offered by the high school Guidance Department, the program
provided important contacts and information, both for the
college-bound and those entering the work force after high
school graduation. Entry-level requirements and general
expectations for jobs were explained.
Among the participants were Saratoga Hospital, State Farm North
Atlantic Regional Office, Saratoga Bridges, Saratoga County
Maplewood Manor, the Adirondack Trust Co. and Price Chopper.
