High school art students win awards at "All-Star Art Show" in January
Saratoga
Springs High School student Erica Wardell won a “Best of Show”
award at the Saratoga County Arts Council High School All-Star
Art Show, which is open until Jan.13 at the council’s 320
Broadway gallery in Saratoga Springs.
Erica earned the first-place award for “Gluttony,” her ceramic
sculpture of a plate of fattening foods. High school student Dan
Levy was awarded second place for a surrealistic pencil drawing
of trees and scissors.
Open to high schools throughout Saratoga County, the show
featured artwork nominated by high school art teachers. The
opening reception was held Jan. 5.
