CIVIL WAR REENACTORS AT MAPLE AVENUE MIDDLE SCHOOL SEPT. 18
A group of Civil War reenactors visited the Maple Avenue Middle School on Sept. 18, to present living history programs to seventh- and eighth-graders. The third annual Saratoga Springs Civil War Encampment was held in Congress Park on Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday, Sept. 20. For more on the encampment, click here.

 

School Report Card
The state's latest School Report Card, published in March 2009 by the New York State Education Department for the 2007-08 school year, demonstrates that students in our school district continue to exceed the academic achievements of their counterparts in other New York State public schools. Five-year trends show that scores have consistently risen and are above state averages. The report cards are released each spring by the Education Department for all public schools in the state.
