ACTING FOR BEGINNERS
                        6 weeks                                                Robert Prince

Have you ever dreamed of being a star of stage and screen?  Yes?  Well, good luck, but the odds are long.  So why study acting?  For starters, it’s great fun!  But even better, to study acting is to study human nature and most student actors come away with a deeper understanding of what motivates us to behave the way we do. Best of all, we spend a good deal of class time laughing!  And many lifelong friendships are made when people laugh together.  Classes will run for 5 weeks.  Participants will be paired up with a partner to work on a short scene or a one-act play together.  We’ll study improvisation, creating a character, finding your motivation, how to memorize lines, emotional memory, comic timing and more.  Week 6 will be a showcase for us to perform our scenes for invited family and friends.  Instructor, Robert Prince, studied acting, voice and directing at the Walnut Street Theatre School in Philadelphia.  He was the Producing Artistic Director of The El Sitio Players, an English-language theatre company in La Antiqua, Guatemala, where he lived for several years.  Class size limited to 20.

WHAT ARE YOUR COINS AND CURRENCY WORTH?

                        Two Nights                                            Anthony Swiatek

Do you have any coins and currency in your dresser drawer, storage container of safe deposit box?  Are you aware that your 2000 Sacagawea golden colored dollar could be worth $7500 to $67,000!!?  Or that your Red Seal $100 bill is worth more than triple face value?  Find out what your collection is truly worth.  Become aware of how their state of preservation or condition, combined with supply and demand factors give the aforesaid their real value.  Learn how to evaluate those television, radio and newspaper offerings which appear to promise you tremendous rarity, value and future potential – but may offer you a major disappointment after acquisition.  So much more will be covered including numismatic history, stamps, etc.  Free coin and currency giveaways for students.  This course is being offered by Anthony J. Swiatek, MA, past 50th president of the American Numismatic Association and full-time professional numismatist since 1979.  For further information he can be reached at anthonyjswiatek@aol.com or at uscoinguru@aol.com
