Emergency School Closing Information
School closings and delays will be posted
here and on the district home page as soon as they are
available. Information will also be available at
http://www.cancellations.com,
http://www.saratogian.com,
television stations WRGB-Channel
6, WTEN-Channel 10,
WNYT-Channel 13, Capital
News 9, and WXXA-Channel 23, and on the
following radio stations:
WCKM-FM 98.5, WCQL-FM 95.9, WWSC-AM 1450, WGY-AM 810,
WRVE-FM 99.5, WYJB-FM 95.5, WQAR-FM
101.3, WKBE-FM 100.3, WFFG-FM 107.1, WMML-AM 1230,
WNYQ-FM 101.7 and WENU-AM 1410.
When schools will close for the entire day,
announcements will begin at approximately 6 a.m. Early dismissal, prompted by severe weather or other emergencies
that develop later in the day, would be planned for 10 a.m.,
noon or 1 p.m. to accommodate the schedules of all the public
and private schools served by the district's transportation
department.
